Originating from North and South America, evening primrose is a plant that thrives in Europe and parts of Asia as well. Characterized by its yellow flowers that bloom at dusk and close during the day, this plant yields oil from its seeds. The evening primrose oil is rich in omega-6 fatty acids, with a notable presence of gamma-linolenic acid (GLA).
