Nirgundi (Vitex Negundo) Extract is derived from an evergreen medicinal deciduous shrub. Originating in India, it is also prevalent in Bangladesh, China, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, and Japan. Often cultivated as a natural fence for agricultural lands and homes, its leaves serve dual purposes as a biopesticide and insecticide. Dried leaves, when placed alongside woolen clothes, effectively repel insects, and the smoke generated from these leaves is utilized as a mosquito repellent.
