Apricot oil, also known as apricot kernel oil, is extracted from the kernels of the Prunus armeniaca (apricot). With apricot kernels boasting an oil content of 40-50%, the resulting oil shares similarities with almond oil and peach oil, both of which are also obtained from the kernels of their respective fruits.
