Eucalyptus Citriodora oil is a colorless, light yellow, or greenish-yellow liquid featuring a grassy aroma reminiscent of citronella aldehyde. Its primary constituents include citronella aldehyde (comprising 65-95%), citronella alcohol, geraniol and its esters, pinene, eucalyptus, iso-menthol, sesquiterpene alcohol, guacanol, among others. This oil is obtained through the steam distillation of the leaves and top branches of the myrtle plant lemon eucalyptus.
