Tribulus terrestris, a small prostrate shrub ranging from 10 to 60 cm in height, is characterized by its hirsute or silky hairy appearance. The leaves are arranged opposite each other, frequently unequal, and exhibit a paripinnate structure. Typically, there are five to eight pairs of pinnae, which are elliptical or oblong lanceolate in shape.
